I retired at the end of the 2025 school year but couldn't stay away. I now work in a small district where I am the only nurse for PK-12. I became nationally certified in 2015. I belong to Sigma Theta Tau, Gamma and Kappa Xi Chapters.
When I am at home, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball, reading, and taking care of my cats.
Since being involved with school nursing, I have served on the Iowa School Nurse Organization board as Legislative Chair, President Elect, President, and National Director.
I am looking forward to retiring fully sometime soon!
