School Nurse Day Background

Since 1972, National School Nurse Day has been set aside to recognize school nurses.

National School Nurse Day was established to foster a better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting.

School Nurse Day is celebrated on the Wednesday within National Nurses Week. National Nurses Week is May 6-12 each year.

Logo Usage Policy

The School Nurse Day logo should appear no less than 2 inches in diameter. This will ensure the logo is readable at all times. The space immediately surrounding the logo should the kept clear for .125 inches in each direction. The School Nurse Day logo may be used in marketing materials and social media materials.
