The All Member Forum is an online community for NASN members. Every NASN member is automatically added to this forum when they join. Ask questions or just read what your colleagues are saying.

Other online communities on SchoolNurseNet are available too.

Review your forum and discussion list email settings in your profile under community notifications. 

Special Interest Groups

Special interest groups (SIGs) allow school nurses to connect with colleagues working in a similar practice.  Each SIG has an online community and discussion list on SchoolNurseNet and meets in-person annually at the NASN annual conference.

NASN Strong

Members can be more influential than they know. When a school nurse joins NASN because of the members' influence, a $10 NASN Strong e-commerce credit is extended to the member. Credits can be used towards dues renewal payments, NASN annual conference registration, and purchases in the NASN bookstore.

NASN Quarterly Connection is NASN's member-only e-newsletter. It is published quarterly to keep NASN members more informed about member benefits, updates and resources.

Be sure you are subscribed to this e-news communication. It is  is sent weekly to keep school nurse professionals up to date with news from NASN and other news affecting school nursing practice.

Calendar

NASN events including in-person conferences and webinars are scheduled on the calendar. Affiliate school nurse organization meetings can also be found on the calendar. The download to calendar feature on each event detail web page makes it easy for you to add an event to your own calendar.

Profile

Keep your profile current. NASN needs a current mailing address to ship the NASN School Nurse and membership materials. Your primary email address is used to keep you current with membership-related information and important news items such as the annual election. In addition, demographics you complete in your profile, help NASN to send you information specific to your needs and interests.

Claim Your School

NASN is asking all school nurses to claim – or identify – the school(s) they serve. This will enable NASN to identify staffing gaps and more effectively target our advocacy and development efforts. And don’t worry -- if you are a district level employee, you can also claim a district in the NASN database.

Advocacy

NASN is focused on helping school nurses articulate their role and the impact they have in the health and academic success of students. Stay informed with advocacy messaging and tools.
