VSP Eyes of Hope

VSP® Eyes of Hope®

Gift Certificate Program

VSP VisionTM Eyes of Hope® gift certificates (formerly known as VSP® Sight for Students®) provide students in need with access to free vision care.

Starting June 14, 2024, VSP Vision will not be accepting new requests for VSP Eyes of Hope gift certificates until further notice. This pause is due to a significant increase in requests and redemptions, which has depleted our annual allocation.

Previously issued VSP Eyes of Hope gift certificates that have not yet expired will be honored.

We appreciate your dedication to increasing equitable access to eye care for students in need and will update this page as soon as requests have reopened.

Important Program Details

The program is fully administered by VSP® Eyes of Hope®, a charitable initiative of VSP VisionTM.

A Social Security number (SSN) is not required to use gift certificates provided by the program. Certificates include a pre-populated Patient ID that the doctor's office will use to administer the covered benefits.

Eligibility for Students

  • Family income no more than 200% of the federal poverty level
  • Student has not used a VSP program during the past 12 months
